Hey, I am Baris Kandemir, a third year PhD student at the College of Information Sciences and Technology at Penn State University Park. My advisor is Prof. James Z. Wang. I have been interested in image processing and image retrieval. My current research interest is in image aesthetics and design, plant biology.
I got my BSc degree on electrical and electronics engineering from Bogazici University, Turkey.
I like to play soccer, and enjoy photography. I am currently an amateur photographer. I like to participate in theatric drama.
